I invite you to join this class where knitting socks becomes clear, logical, and even relaxing. "Socks Unhurried" is a knitting class consisting of 4 meetings/sessions, one meeting per week, designed specifically for those who already know the basics of knitting (knit and purl stitches), but who have never knitted socks before. Each session is designed to build on the previous one, so that you acquire the necessary knowledge and skills in a clear and applied way. Between sessions, you will have the opportunity to practice at home, and at each new session, we will resume, correct, and knit further together.
What we will do:
We will learn step by step how to knit a complete pair of socks, cuff down, with an emphasis on building a heel, known as a “strong heel”. We will work at a pace suitable for beginners in sock knitting, without rushing, with clear explanations and visual support. By choice, participants will learn to knit their socks either in the 5 double-pointed needles method or in the magic loop method.
Important to know:
📌 This is not a class for absolute beginners in knitting. It is necessary that you already know how to make knit and purl stitches
📌 The class does NOT have a participant kit! Since the choice of yarn, colors, and needles is personal, upon registration, you will receive a detailed list with recommendations for materials (yarn, needles, markers, sock blockers) and suggestions where you can purchase them. It is important to register early to stock up on supplies in time.
📌 Participants will receive written teaching materials and video support so they can resume the learned steps at any time.
📌 WhatsApp support group during the class duration and afterwards.
🌿 Class duration: 4 sessions of 2.30 - 3 hours each; 1 session/week
🌿 Session dates: September 23, 24, 29, and October 1, 6, 8 from 6:00 PM. Each participant will choose, according to their preference and availability, suitable participation dates, which they will communicate on the WhatsApp support group after registering for this class.
🌿 The class will take place on Str. Avram Iancu 29, in RUNO&KA's knitting studio in the attic in Cluj-Napoca
Cancellation and refund policy
Cancellations made at least 5 days before the workshop will receive a partial refund (30%). In case of later cancellations, the amount will not be refunded, but the cost can be transferred to a future workshop.
If the event is canceled by the organizer, the entire amount will be refunded in full.
During the workshop, photo and video materials will be taken by the organizers and will be published later for promotional purposes. Making a reservation implies the participant's implicit agreement to appear in these materials and to be used publicly.
